support to our Members while working with Federal, State and Local
governments to improve and develop needed guide lines for the Bio Recovery Industry.
Association members continuously strive to
become and remain informed on issues affecting the bio-recovery industry
consisting of crime and trauma scene decontamination, remediation,
hazardous waste handling and disposal.
Work with (O S H
A) Occupational Safety & Health Administration and the
Environmental
Protection Agency to Establish Professional Standards that will insure
that the
Bio-Recovery Industry has comprehensive guide lines for the Professional
Training of
Bio-Recovery Technicians.
Establish and
implement a curriculum for Certification of Bio-Recovery Technicians.
Establish
requirements for Bio-recovery Companies and Contractors.
Provide
Public Safety from Bio Hazardous situations.
Protect our
Industry from Individuals who do not have legal requirements:

3. Respirator Training and or
Fit test (29CFR 1904.134)
4. Hepatitis B Vaccine
5. Hazardous Material
Handling Training
6. Methods of Packaging,
Transporting and Disposal of Regulated Waste.
7. Crime Trauma
Scene Decontamination / Bio-Recovery Training.

Trained
Technicians, Proper Licenses and Safety plans as described:
